Rambling Sam is a singer-songwriter and comedian with a lot of influences ranging from folk to death metal. He plays largely original numbers filled with his typical brand of dark humour which can sound like anything from country to blues, and even parodies of teenage tragedy songs from the 1960s.
Vocally, others have compared him to Bruce Springsteen and Chris Stapleton, but he’ll let everyone else be the judge of that.
Open mic nights played include Adelphi Musicians’ Night, Off the Road, Roadhouse, Tuesday at the Tap, and Spring Bank Tavern.
More recently, he played as a booked musician at the monthly comedy night at The Queens Hotel.
